Highlights from the ‘Atmospheric Aerosol Chemistry & Physics: Laboratory Measurements, Field Observations, and Modelling’
The symposium ‘Atmospheric Aerosol Chemistry & Physics: Laboratory Measurements, Field Observations, and Modelling’ was one out of eight special symposia organized by the Environment Division this year. The posters on Thursday and talks on Friday were very well received by the community. The symposium featured eight invited speakers from Canada and the United States, as well as excellent contributions from graduate students, government scientists, and professors, representing advances in research from across the country. Among them, two of the Environment Division’s student competition award winners: Best Graduate Student Poster by Alison Bain (McGill, University) and Best Graduate Platform presentation by Devon McGrath (Memorial University of Newfoundland). Congratulations! We would like to thank the group of judges for their help in making the competition possible and thank all participating students for making it a success.
